Viva Las Vegas

January has been a whirlwind in Sin City. Renaissance Management, Inc. rang in the New Year with one of the largest trade shows in the world, Consumer Electronics. With 50 jobs spanning multiple convention centers, we had plenty to keep us busy.

After a hectic, but successful installation, the latest trends in the electronics industry were on full display at CES 2017. Drones and smart house features dominated the trade show floor as thousands of exhibitors and consumers flooded the Las Vegas Convention Center, Sands Expo, and the Renaissance Hotel.

As a newcomer to the I&D industry, I am always floored (no pun intended) by the dynamic nature of the trade show floor. While completing the dismantle for CES on January 8th, Renaissance Management, Inc. was preparing installs for not one, but THREE major trade shows in Las Vegas that began the day following the completion of the CES dismantle. RMI successfully completed installs for World of Concrete, Surfaces, and Shot Show, all opening within hours of one another beginning on January 17th.

The Las Vegas crew did find some time to relax and explore everything Las Vegas has to offer, playing the slots and knocking around the little white ball on the golf course. A few of us even trekked through the canyons of Nevada, successfully completing the Gold Strike Hot Springs Trailhead and Valley of Fire, surrounded by red rocks, sunshine, and hot spring pools.

Meanwhile, the rest of the RMI team carried out installs and dismantles around the country for shows such as National Retailers in NYC and Homebuilders in Orlando. We have a busy spring ahead of us, and we look forward to a very successful 2017!
